It's now called Whiskey Chicks. That's all I know. Roosters was not well-run, IMO. In addition, they tried to be Eischen's, but couldn't duplicate the chicken. The first time I went, it was so salty it was inedible. The second time it was better, but if you're going to sell only chicken, you'd better have the best chicken east of Eischen's.

Slow service, flat beer, oversalted everything. I still went a few times due to proximity to Thunder games.

Well, that's embarrassing.

I for one will NOT miss Roosters at all. I suspect that my feelings are the feelings of the majority. Bad food, bad attitudes equals closed business. As to its successor I have no interest. If they fail then I will not be negatively impacted at all.

I recall the bartender at the Prohibition Room telling me that he was involved with a new Bricktown bar. He mentioned it would be where Roosters was. He told me the name, and I'm pretty sure I heard "Whiskey Chicks". If that's where he works now, I'm definitely gonna check it out despite a lame name. He made awesome cocktails and an amazing Whiskey Sour.
