A friend asked me to post this for them since they can't access OKCTalk at work. Is there a place or tree farm (orchard I'm guessing) where the general public can go and pick their own fresh fruit, whatever is in season (peaches, apples, strawberries, etc.) and just pay a fee or per pound, etc.

found this via google. I don't know how current it is but a brief review shows recent updates, so hopefully it will aid your friend.
Where to find pick your own farms and orchards in Oklahoma for fruit, vegetables, pumpkins and Christmas trees. (http://www.pickyourown.org/OK.htm#listings)

There are quite a few peach orchards in the Harrah area, I take my wife and son every year. Drove all the way out there this year only to find out that none of the crops survived, it was either a late freeze or hail, I can't remember. So, make sure you call before you go.

This probably won't help much but eh, figure I may as well mention it just in case - while driving from Cushing to Stillwater back in July there were signs on the side of the road advertising a place where you could go pick your own berries. I can't remember the name of the place though & since I am not from the area I can't even venture a guess. Maybe someone that's more familiar with the Stillwater area might have an idea.
