Is there a reason 3 buildings were purple last night.

There was also 4 old looking planes in formation making multiple passes over downtown with smoke coming out yesterday evening.

That is such a great color, I hope it ends up in their regular lighting scheme rotation.

Really quite impressive what they have come back and done after years of the other system that never worked out.

I wish they'd leave the lights on just a little while longer in the mornings. I drive by downtown right before sunrise and BancFirst is lit up but Devon is already turned off by then :(

There hasn't been any recent testing of the new Devon lighting system.

I know they wanted to be fully operational by the end of the year, so I suspect they may be waiting for the holidays to go live.

Tonight, they have the Thunder logo in the 3 big triangles with some lightning action, plus some cool effects down the sides.

On Halloween they rotated between purple/green in the triangles and purple/green down the sides.

Devon has been running a snowflake-falling animation at the top for the last week or so.

My bedroom window looks at downtown from the south. I get to watch the show all night long. The holiday lights on the buildings downtown have come a long way from the solitary crosses.

On Friday night around 6pm there was a test of a short period of time where they were projecting a moon with Santa riding his sleigh around it. I figured it was a test for tomorrow night.

I think that's supposed to be Devon Orange

It was so foggy on Christmas Eve, that no one could see this special one-night animation.

So, I flew my drone way up and super close.

Also, they tried a special pixelated red and green lighting up the sides of the building, but it was so faint I didn't even realize the lights were on. They were trying something new and it didn't work; hopefully they learned and we'll see some more complex lighting schemes in the future.
