Some of that steel may be at full height if not close to it. Looks like more steel will go directly in front of the steel already installed.

Yeah, it looks like the top of that steel is the very top of the building judging from the diagram Pete posted.

Finally got my hands on a detailed drawing and can confirm the final height of the building will be 844 feet.

More specific details:

Levels 1-6: 20 feet
Levels 7-46: 14 feet 8 inches
Levels 47-50 (will be labeled 47, 49, 50 and 51): 19 feet 6 inches
Crown (labeled 52): 59 feet 3 inches


Not counting the first steel going in for the crown, we are at 784 feet currently:

Regarding the Yellow steel columns & Beams that span the openings at the inverted triangle upon close inspection thanks to the video William so graciously provided, seem to confirm to me that they are likely not temporary in nature as they were manufactured for that specific size and opening and are in and of themselves steel structural elements that I believe to be Fire proofed with Intumescent Paint. This is only a guess but I think that there is far too much steel and detail in the connections that they make with the concrete structure for them to be anything else, in my opinion. Steel in this case would allow for a much clearer view out rather than much larger and deeper concrete beam sections that would have been required had it been used there. As was stated earlier time will tell for sure, but I thought that I would throw in my observation. I do not know however why they would have chosen yellow for the color of the intumescent paint as you can do quite a number of colors that would be less stark, such as grey, black or white even. That is the one area of weakness that my theory has, unless they are intending to clad the members in some other decorative finish or conceal in another way. But then I would think you opt for another method (less expensive) fireproofing. Either way it will be interesting to see the answer revealed to us as it progresses.

When yellow beams are illuminated at night they make a pretty dramatic effect. These are the yellow cables of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge illuminated at night. If the lights moved it would look like a flame.

You can now see on the construction cam that they are in the process of erecting the same sort of structure on the north side.

I assume they will do this on all three sides then start to fill in the taller pieces.

That glass is all the same. There's just different structures inside of it that make it appear more translucent on the top.

I mentioned last week, the entire rotunda appears clear glass from most angles, but from certain angles, gives the ILLUSION that it is same as the tower and garden wing because of the reflection.

Hey guys!!! Go to unforsakens video and go to 1:17 and pause it or look at his 5th picture that he posted. Look at the idention on floor 46 and 47, the concrete floors in the indention is different then the rest.. They are stacked or zig zagging.

Yeah go to the fifth picture of unforsakens pictures.

That is really weird.... I wonder why it's like that...

There's probably a steel stairwell or some other structure that flows between those three floors for whatever reason, surely to do with the function of those particular floors.

As I was on the Country Club bridge in El Reno, Okla. I tried looking towards OKC and I think i may have seen the Devon tower all the way from where i live, I was focusing real hard lol.

Driving back from Shawnee Sunday morning I could see the very top from about Peebly Rd.

It's very visible (and all of downtown) from Hwy 9 in Newcastle. As soon as football season starts I'll get a pic from OU's stadium upper deck. Great view of the tower from there, with the campus in the foreground.

I don't know about the Devon site, but any other construction site you can walk anywhere as long as you wear a yellow vest, safety glasses, and a hard hat. No one would stop you if you acted like you belong there. Not that you should do it. LOL
