View Full Version : Slogans from old TV commercials
Keith 02-03-2005, 07:56 AM Something I always like to laugh at were some of the funny commercials from years ago. Some of you young pups may not remember some of these.
I'm a pepper, he's a pepper, she's a pepper, we're a pepper; wouldn't you like to be a pepper too?
Hey, how about a nice Hawaiin punch?
A is for apple, J is for Jacks. Cinnamon toasty Applejacks . . .
Snap, Crackle, Pop, Rice Krispies
"Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't. Almond Joy's got nuts, Mounds don't."
Candy-coated popcorn, peanuts, and a prize, that's what you get in Crackerjack.
Double your pleasure with Doublemint gum.
There's nothing like the face of a kid eating a Hershey bar. There's nothing like it you'll ever see, a face as happy as it can be. There's nothing like the face of a kid when he's munching on the greatest taste around. Hershey's, the great American chocolate bar
Hotdogs, Armour hot dogs. What kinds of kids love Armour hot dogs? Fat kids, skinny kids, kids who climb on rocks, tough kids, sissy kids, even kids with chicken pox love hotdogs, Armour hot dogs, the dogs kids love to bite. .
Everybody doesn't like something, but nobody doesn't like Sara Lee.
How many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a Tootsie Pop?
Ask any mermaid you happen to see, "What's the best tuna?" "Chicken of the Sea.
Oh, I wish I were an Oscar-Mayer wiener; that is what I'd truly like to be. Cause if I were an Oscar-Mayer wiener, Everyone would be in love with me.
My baloney has a first name; it's O-S-C-A-R. My baloney has a second name; it's M-A-Y-E-R. Oh, I love to eat it every day, and if you ask me why, I'll say, cause Oscar-Mayer has a way with B-O-L-O-G-N-A.
Plop plop, fizz fizz .
It's not nice to fool Mother Nature.
Pardon me; do you have any Grey Poupon?
My dog's faster than your dog, my dog's bigger than yours. My dog's better 'cause he gets Ken-L Ration. My dog's better than yours.
When it says Libby's, Libby's, Libby's on the label, label, label, you will like it, like it, like it on your table, table, table.
Tum, tum, tum, tum, Tums.
A little dab 'll do ya.
Oh, Fab, I'm glad, they put real borax in you.
Winston tastes good like a cigarette should.

this one always reminds me of my Dad, come summer time he would be out puttering in the garage singing this at the top of his big ole voice. I used to hope the neighbors weren't at home or where inside unable to hear him. I wish now it was more than a memory, but I can still hear him in my heart and that always makes me smile.
