I used to watch OETA a lot as a child. Who can forget Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers. What is your favorite program on OETA and why?

Personally, I think Sesame Street is probably the all time best children's program on PBS. Although it's not a substitute for a proper education, it does provide a lot of quality educational information for young children.

And the number for today is......??? 14

The late Shari Lewis. She and the "kids" were among my favorites when I was little. Plus Soupy Sales.

Ok, I really liked Lamb Chops and the song that would never end.:tweeted: Sesame Street was also a favorite, especially Elmo and the Cookie Monster.

Sesame Street, Electric Company, and Captain Kangaroo. In our office, sometimes we'll start the "song that never ends" people then can't get it out of their heads. :)

That was Shari's plan. To make people think. She was a good educator and entertainer. Plus, even when she died, a mighty nice looking lady.
