is now open.a few girls from the velvet monkey have
opened there own salon with a fifties theme,private rooms,
and will be doing 25% off from now til september 19th.

Michelle from Velvet Monkey is there now, she's awesome!!!

she was always there, she's majority owner of starlite. both girls are from the old velvet monkey. sarah, the other girl specializes in men and is a licensed barber as well as stylist. Michelle specializes more in women.

Yeah, thumbs up for Michelle, she cut my hair at Velvet Monkey, and I was just in to see her at Starlite yesterday. I love the new digs, and she did a fantastic job, as usual. That little redevelopment there on 23rd is really starting to fill out. Having Cuppies and Joe next door is a real plus for me..

Don't forget about Mr. Rabbit behind/adjacent to Cuppies & Joe also. Behind C&J and Starlite, the other house is going to be a Sushi place and will also have a public zen garden.
