We are new to the area (and climate zone!) and are looking for a recommendation on someone who we can meet with to help us re-do and plan the landscaping around our home. Thanks.

Luke 08-21-2009, 11:29 AM We are new to the area (and climate zone!) and are looking for a recommendation on someone who we can meet with to help us re-do and plan the landscaping around our home. Thanks. I noticed your profile picture is the seal of Celebration, Florida. Last time we were in Florida, we stayed at the Mona Lisa Suite Hotel in Celebration. What brings you to our neck of the woods? Celebrator 08-22-2009, 12:48 AM Yes, we did live in Celebration and enjoyed it very much...but greater Orlando...not so much. There were a couple of great jobs for us here and were looking for a higher quality of life that the great Heartland can deliver. We love it here. Luke 08-22-2009, 08:28 AM Welcome! As far as landscapers go, I got nothing for ya. I'm sure others around here will be able to help. John 08-22-2009, 03:37 PM Three of the best in town: Total Environment (website currently down) Edmond Landscapes (Edmond Landscapes Homepage (http://www.edmondlandscapes.com)) Caviness Landscape & Design (Caviness Landscape and Design (http://www.cavinesslandscape.com)) You can't go wrong with any of the above. Celebrator 08-22-2009, 11:31 PM Thank you so much. Nefarious 08-29-2009, 11:01 AM I'd check out Keep it Green. It's a small family owned company. The owner will take good care of you. Will 09-24-2009, 10:39 AM Total Environment is great if you want to pay out the rear. Shop around, you can find others that will do just as good of a job for much less. lasomeday 09-24-2009, 11:50 AM If you want a landscape architect I would go with Howard Faribairn. They are liscenced landscape architects, none of the ones mentioned above are. 3100 NW 149th St Oklahoma City, OK 73134-1848 (405) 752-8018 Celebrator 09-26-2009, 09:17 PM Great suggestion, thanks. |
