Top 5

1- 30 Rock
2- Lost
3- Fringe
4- The Office
5- Breaking Bad

I did enjoy the first episode or two of Kings but it did slow down after that...Hated to even watch it as I knew it didn't have a chance in hell of surviving

does anyone really watch tv that much anymore? i thought everyone was too busy being glued to the internet.

i used to watch tv before it became nothing but reality tv shows, medical dramas, dancing & singing competitions, cheesy slapstick family/friendly-oriented sitcoms, and daytime court shows.

what ever happened to REAL tv shows? the kind of show where something usually exploded on every episode!!!!! (i.e.:A-Team, Airwolf, The Fall Guy, McGuyver, Dukes of Hazzard, Rockford Files, Knight Rider, Magnum P.I.)

yeah, i know. im still stuck in the 80s! but, hey..its not a bad place to be. come pull up a chair and grab a beer from my cooler. i got every good tv show on dvd to make up for what todays airwaves lack.

Sitting here, the first thing that comes to mind as "I think I'm gonna puke", is that new show called "More to Love". It comes on just before the FOX25 News and I just wanna gouge my eyes out. We have got to cut the flow of drugs to the network execs; these guys are smoking something not meant for a human.

Most of what's listed above, I've never sat through a complete episode.

I catch certain shows of folks whose craft I respect, or which show solid writng even if the actors are eh. These include, in no particular order:

NCIS
The Law & Order franchise, in particular Criminal Intent
The CSI trio, with CSI NY being the least fav of the three
Saving Grace
Numbers
True Blood, and in its day Carnivale
Family Guy cartoons aka What happens when snippets of All in the Family, Leave it to Beaver, Brady Bunch, old porn, Jeffersons and South Parkland in a blender full of Rocky Road

Best of the Best:

Battlestar Galactica
True Blood
Dexter
Lost

Surprisingly Good / Better than Expected:

The Big Bang Theory
How I Met Your Mother
24
Smallville
Chuck

Leverage (Think "Oceans 11" every week).

Supernatural (For a show that started out kinda like you would expect, I have to admit that this season's Angels vs. Demons storyline hooked me).

Has Been Better:

Heroes

Has Potential:

Being Human (It's a new show that just started on BBC America about three roommates. It turns out one of them is a vampire, one is a werewolf, and one is a disembodied ghost. Witty and brilliant dialog, as most British shows are).

Caprica (The prequel series to Battlestar Galactica. It has been released on DVD already and will air on SyFy in the next few months).

Guilty Pleasures:

Secret Diary of a Call Girl
Deadliest Warriors
Penn and Teller's Bull****!

I forgot to mention Big Bang Theory as one of my very favorite shows. It's a comedy, but for anyone who worked in the geek business, it's more of a documentary!

Totally. One of the most improved shows over time ever. Was pretty throwaway in the first couple seasons.

Watch "Real Chance at Love" or "Megan Wants a Millionaire" on VH-1. "More to Love" will seem like classic tv by comparison.
