Here is a news video about a gay couple of penguins. They even raised a baby, together after being given an egg by the zoo people. After six years, their next door neighbor lost her mate and one of the penguins went straight. He moved out of his home with his former partner and in with "Linda." They had babies. One day, the gay penguin who was left went over there and they threatened him with violence.

It is not clear if there was an intervention, a religious conversion or if Linda was just super hot. For a penguin.

That could be it! Perhaps the two timer was bisexual. By all accounts, the left behind penguin appears to just be gay but we can't know that based on this record although the evidence suggests that he is.

I read that they are monogamous for the season (which includes raising the babies) but frequently switch to a different partner during the next mating season.
