Here in Norman around SE 24th and Lindsey I missed out on last Thursdays big storm,3-4 day's ago a storm was moving south outta mid/del and it died right when it got to Norman and then last night all I got was very light rain! I like big storms ,I like to watch them outside and the weather men tracking them!

If theres two complexs tonight I'll bet one goes east of us (west metro) and the other west. Its just been our luck lately. Not that I miss the hail everyone else has been dealing with.

REALLY. Are you kidding me? The west Metro (between Council and Hefner Parkway) got screwed again. Three stroms have hit the east side this week and the pavement has stayed dry at our house. At least I got my forecast right!!!!!!! :whiteflag

Thunder. my family has been telling me that for years. Since I like the Big Bang Theory I'll call this episode " The donut hole Conundrum"

I need a weather excorcism.

Sorry I missed out on the chat last night Thunder, I had too many projects going on. Howd it go? I shouldnt have spent as much time as I did watching the radar. I stayed up til about 130 hoping something might happen (rain wise) so I'll be sleepy all day now.

I got to thinking. Im a huge Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Twins and OU football fan. None of them can seem to win the big game. I also love storms and none will come near my house. lol Maybe someone in Minnesota should pay me to be a Green Bay fan, or maybe the folks in Moore could hire me to move there to protect their city from storms. :bright_id

I was pulling for Watson in the British Open too........man, I am a jinx.

Wooo I see myself on spotter network. We actually saw something that was very interesting last night. GR2 had a TVS and we got a pic of something SW of Enid on that supercell. Looks like it could have possibly put a quick one down. I'll post it at anvil crawlers later and see what you guys think.

Indication of strong rotation and updraft.

Don't be fooled by the radar, that is mostly verga in the Oklahoma County with a few pockets of showers.

I looked up what verga was in google and I clicked the first link (urbandictionary)...

Uhhuhh..

:LolLolLol I just now looked it up and I see what Venture is talking about.

To me, it was steady showers, because the rain was steady outside for a while with a few moderate rain.

Nice pic. Yeah there were some beautiful striations with the storms.

My verga comment was for the blow off echoes early on - i'm sure the rain started to for not longer after that as things developed more.

Sheesh.

One spring Oklahoma storm and that city would be leveled!
