Matt 07-11-2009, 09:21 AM Every participating 7-11 store will be handing out Free Slurpees - one per person today July 11th. Enjoy! What about Icees? Are they free? Tex 07-11-2009, 09:54 AM I doubt this will be offered at the independently owned 7-Eleven in OKC since they do not sell Slurpees, but rather Icy Drinks. This is more of a everywhere but OKC 7-Eleven Slurpee promotion. Karried 07-11-2009, 10:44 AM I was wondering about that! :-( FritterGirl 07-11-2009, 10:56 AM I was wondering about that, too. Figured the OKC 7-11s weren't going to get in on the promo. Charlie40 07-11-2009, 10:08 PM Nope none of the 7-11's in the state are doing it, went in and asked about it thats the respone I got. Only the ones not affiliated with Oklahome are getting the free slurpies. kevinpate 07-11-2009, 10:30 PM Oh well, it is Oklahoma. Giving away slurpees for free is probably a crime SoonerDave 07-11-2009, 11:24 PM Yeah, all we get are free Fish Tacos from A&W on the 14th. In a word, bllllllleeeeeeeccccccccccccecccchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhh!!!!! At least we got free small root beer floats from Sonic last month... possumfritter 07-12-2009, 01:09 PM Fish Tacos? R U kidding me? Yuck!!!!! Karried 07-12-2009, 11:55 PM Sorry guys... didn't realize OK 7-11's had Icy Drinks instead of Slurpees .. ugh..figures p.s. fish tacos are the bomb Thunder 07-13-2009, 12:02 AM Just go in, fill one up, go to the counter and say "This is for the free promotion." Once they correct you that it is not for OKC's 7-11, complain and refuse to pay. Eventually, they will let you have it for free, since it would go to waste in the trash. Karried 07-13-2009, 12:36 PM ahhhh, no - 79 cents isn't worth the fuss. westsidesooner 07-13-2009, 01:39 PM Now if only we could get La Lunas to do a promotion like that with their Sangria Margaritas......YUM. silvergrove 07-13-2009, 02:53 PM Does anyone think that the 7-11s in OKC will give way to QT once the owner of the OKC 7-11 dies? Matt 07-13-2009, 03:02 PM I don't know, but God, I sure hope so. Thunder 07-13-2009, 03:17 PM The two QT I've been to recently in Tulsa have a nice Bakery selections. The only thing I can find at OnCue is Krispy Kreme donuts. As I recall that QT and 7-11 have an agreement between two men not to establish in each other's market area. It is not official. Nothing is on paper. So one of them should make that move and I'd rather have QT to make that first move into OKC. |
