Both are scheduled on the 3rd Saturday of the month. Several regulars, including yours truly, won't be able to attend. NOT the games, the get togethers! Some of the Southwestern Bulldog fans might have to leave early in order to find a parking space within 2 blocks of the stadium. Weatherford can be difficult to navigate during home games. There were at least 7 cars at the stop sign on Main Street 20 minutes before the last home game. What does Panhandle State and East Central's calendar look like? Am I missing anyone? Oh yeah! DUH! It's always fun to watch college football but the excitement is gone. In summer of 2007 I had quadruple by-pass the first of August. Contracted a stat infection. Went to all games, the first 3 with a wound-vac on my shoulder. Had a dr's statement as to what it was and the reason I was wearing it. Of course if they wanted to check it out the tube ran into my left groin. The atmosphere is the high. But I get just as excited when OU is on t.v. or watch a tape of a game or play from the past. The let-down is there are too many people who go to games and have no idea what's going on and could care less. They are there just to brag that they went to the OU game on saturday.
