nah, they've had worse showings televised. All things considered, the score indicates, in my opinion, a much closer game than the parts I tuned in for would cause me to believe.

Oklahoma played like the lower end 25 team that was missing some talent, gee that's what they are this year. Also, UT dinna play like a top 5 team, fortunately for OU.

Woulda rather they won, cause that makes the lovely smile brighter, but it coulda been a lot worse.

Yep, they sure had a great showing on Defense in the first half. Too bad Bradford got hurt again but Landry Jones did a great job for a Freshman...
Colt McCoy WILL remember this game for a long time to come.....

committee at the same time. Have a great time and I'll see you next time.

Not a good reason.

But, and it's a big but...

... if you must be gone then you have to buy lunch for all of us in
November. I'll take a chili dog, onion rings and Root Beer! Maybe 2 chili
dogs! And since you'll be buying, a large order of onion rings. Do they have
an extra large super deluxe mega sized order? How about a 3 Foot Long
Chili Dog with extra cheese? I'll take 2!

Do they have dessert? Maybe a Root Beer float! 3 scoops of vanilla!

Okay everybody. Place your order now!

Unfortunately, I was late, 2:45pm and didn't get to see everyone. There
were a few new faces and enjoyed visiting with them. 64, Frisky and I
stayed for a while afterwards. I had to leave for a gig in Norman.

I brought Gen64 and official brick from Ho Ho's house.

Hey Steve, don't forget your camera!

Does anybody have a 1931 Model A radiator they don't need just lying around
and taking up space?

The regulars that attended were '64, Frisky, Prunepicker, Rowdy55ok (She's a Grant Grad and CHHS attendee. Counts for one of each?) , Steve, Doug and myself. I believe there were 6 newbies, all from CHHS. We get many more we may need to find another location...........

Oh c'mon. It's 15 hours unless you get killed in the Gorge.

Hey, I'll be passing through Ashevill in May. Maybe you can buy me an
incredibly expensive lunch and all the goodies! Really, I don't care as long as
the price is too expensive, the food is awful and the service is horrific. To be
truthful, Dairy Queen works for me!

I'm always in NC in May because I'm an addicted Fly FisherMAN. PM in April,

Oh!... How was.. the gig?
It was incredible. I got to play with some of the finest players in the USA.
A student of Phil Rosutto's (an arranger for Stan Kenton) who is 74! A fine
pianist who is so gifted I can't believe it and a drummer who is a very
talented arrangrr. I was just the bassist and the kid of the group. Everyone
was over 60, except me, but it's not that far away!

There was a massive rockslide at mile marker 3 on I-40 in N.C. closing it entirely last night. Haven't heard when they will get it cleaned up.

Hey for you guys that have never attended one of the meetings....you oughta come. We (Southside memories) started about 1 1/2 years ago meeting on a given Saturday and just have a good get together. There is not cost unless you eat lunch and then it's whatever Coit's has on their menu. So far, we haven't had any "Whacko's" show up (except Prunepicker). And if they do then they will probably just fit right in. We have tried to get TeriOKC (the originator of the thread) to show but to no avail she's not been there that we know of yet. But, we have the faith that she will show her smiling face someday. Even if you are NOT from the Southside and yet you enjoy reading and participating on the thread then we invite you to the get together....We haven't had anyone from N.W. Classen or John Marshall yet.....So ya'll come:......ya hear.....

I found some Jefferson junior high year books from 66 to 70. That's right,
Jefferson Jr. High was 5 of the happiest years of my life.

I'll black out photos for a nominal fee.

Does anyone remember the assistant principal at that time? He was a cousin
of mine. So I was 38 and in the 8th grade, give me a break.

I found something else but I don't remember what it was. Prunette has put a
million boxes in my music room so the Model A can go into the garage. I look
