It's been kinda heavy doing the Jim Crow blog article and it was something of a tonic to receive an e-mail yesterday from a guy in Shamrock, Texas. He sent me 11 high-resolution scans of the Oklahoma City Famous Kiltie Band appearing at that city's inaugural St. Patrick's Day Celebration way back in 1938, 71 years ago. I have accordingly updated the blog article, Doug Dawgz Blog: Oklahoma City's Famous Kiltie Band (http://dougdawg.blogspot.com/2008/08/oklahoma-citys-famous-kiltie-band.html), to include those images and have bumped the article to the top of the list.
