Jon27 04-26-2009, 09:25 PM It is probably a water well drilling truck. That's kind of what I was thinking. Could we be getting another water tower? I've had an extra $5.00 charge on my water bill for OKC water. It's been for over a year. I don't know if these are related. oneforone 04-26-2009, 09:27 PM That's kind of what I was thinking. Could be... then again it could be a private land owner who does not want to utilize the city water system. rbayless 04-26-2009, 10:42 PM Could be... then again it could be a private land owner who does not want to utilize the city water system. I doubt it. I-40 is to the south, Cornwell to the West and 10th st to the North, and off/on ramp to I-50 to the East. I would not be surprised if the city owned that land.. oneforone 04-27-2009, 12:15 AM Either way the truck is most like a water well drilling truck. The oil drilling/natural gas drilling towers are too large to fit on the back of a single truck. nik4411 04-27-2009, 12:19 AM Well they aren't really. A rig like that would be called a work over where they would just be re-entering a well to do things down hole after it has already been drilled. justinm 04-27-2009, 11:26 AM it's a workover rig for the oil and gas company that operates the well. We should be finished in a few days. nik4411 05-02-2009, 03:40 PM Yea that is what i thought...what is it producing oil or gas? oneforone 05-03-2009, 01:48 PM Hot Air just like most of the people on this board and your average politician. Jon27 05-03-2009, 02:15 PM it's a workover rig for the oil and gas company that operates the well. We should be finished in a few days. Thanks Justin! justinm 05-04-2009, 09:17 AM It's a natural gas well. It had a whole in the casing, so it takes some time. Hopefully, we can get it back! nik4411 05-04-2009, 10:33 AM haha yea, well good luck. Stan Silliman 05-04-2009, 10:45 AM It's a natural gas well. It had a whole in the casing, so it takes some time. Hopefully, we can get it back! Will it also produce ethanol? justinm 05-04-2009, 03:21 PM nope. |
