But is it just me, or is the Nostalgia thread dying on the vine? I hope not, but every since the computer crashes a while back, most of the regulars are GONE!! There are a few that are posting to every thread in here trying to revive it, but will it work?? Don't throw any rocks, I want it to work but would also like some real HONEST opinions. I've read where attendence has dropped drastically at the meetings, the posting is just about gone; just looking for some opinions, not criticisms!!!My problem is that after 2 years at it, I have pretty well dumped all my memories out here on the forum floor and have swept up everybody elses and examined them carfully. If I see a question I can answer, I will and I may eventually have questions for others about out shared past on the dear ol' south side. Taxed But Not Represented 09-02-2010, 01:06 PM I had at least one cousin or brother at SE from 1950 until 1968, then my family gave the SE staff a rest until I got there in '77. Then the staff needed a long rest after me. None from my family until the schools closing in '90 (my brother's kids went to Moore schools). But we hit them hard when the school re-opened. My step-daughters graduated from SE in 2000 and 2004 and one of my sons in 2001. My other son graduated from Moore schools in 2002. We have lived in Stella for 6 years now and my youngest step daughter just graduated from McLoud in 2010 and is a freshman at the top university in the state. GO POKES! FRISKY 12-01-2010, 06:49 AM Hello, I am trying to find relatives of the late Doug Campbell who was a musician in the Oklahoma City area. He passed away in the year 2000. At that time he had a daughter, Cristy Bryant, who was living in Norman. He also had a wife named Jerry that returned to Oklahoma from Nebraska after his death. Doug also had two sons, Doug Jr, and John David. I would appreciate a phone number for any of these people - if you know of them. Thanks for your consideration. Feel free to email me if you have any. Lesa ChristiancyThis post ^^^ was made from here: http://www.okctalk.com/showthread.php?t=23877 I copied it to this section because there are several musicians in here that might be able to help. papaOU 12-01-2010, 09:25 PM A good place for this: Just saw Prune jammin' at Ingrids on OETA. Well, I saw a show about it on the History channel. It was on Oct. 6, 1967 in the Haight Ashbury District Of San Francisco. It was called "The Death Of Hippie."
