View Full Version : New BT Web site LordGerald 04-15-2009, 02:37 PM Can't believe no one's posted it yet. So, here it is: Welcome to Bricktown (http://www.welcometobricktown.com/) lg AFCM 04-15-2009, 02:55 PM That's a pretty cool feature. Thanks for posting. Unfortunately, I clicked on parking, zoomed out a bit, and was disgusted to see an aerial view of how much surface parking consumes such ambitious real estate. OKCMallen 04-15-2009, 02:59 PM Not bad. Of Sound Mind 04-15-2009, 04:56 PM That's a great website! wsucougz 04-15-2009, 05:51 PM From looking at that model, it quickly becomes clear that there is very little parking in or around the Bricktown area. shane453 04-15-2009, 06:01 PM ^^ That's sarcasm right? MadMonk 04-15-2009, 07:55 PM Nice site. That would be handy for the downtown area too. Steve 04-15-2009, 08:25 PM Good guess Shane. OKCisOK4me 04-15-2009, 08:32 PM This should be good for any writers from other nba teams that may come in to visit! mecarr 04-15-2009, 09:23 PM Great website. I can tell they put a lot of hard work into it. okclee 04-15-2009, 09:47 PM Excellent! The best website Okc has, hands down. Did anyone click on the restaurants and then highlight Mickey Mantels? metro 04-16-2009, 10:17 AM This should be good for any writers from other nba teams that may come in to visit! Actually probably not, doubt it is a very mobile friendly website. I wonder if they even know what a mobile site is, let alone thought about one. Props though for the massive overhaul of their former excuse for a website. Makes me dizzy. I clicked on "hotels" and it did nothing though, it just brought me to Nonna's on the interactive map, so apparently they still have kinks to go. Massive improvement though. metro 04-16-2009, 10:18 AM Can't believe no one's posted it yet. So, here it is: Welcome to Bricktown (http://www.welcometobricktown.com/) lg Actually Steve gave us a heads up the other day in his article that was later reposted in the other BT thread. Pete 04-16-2009, 10:22 AM Very nice! I just dropped the mobile suggestion on their Facebook page. I clicked on "hotels" and it did nothing though, it just brought me to Nonna's on the interactive map, so apparently they still have kinks to go It does work, you just are probably too zoomed in the middle of the diagram to see the highlighted hotels. They have great 360 views for all of them, including the new Hampton Inn. But for some strange reason they left out the Skirvin and Colcord while including the Courtyard, Renaissance and Sheraton. Mr. T in OKC 04-16-2009, 12:40 PM Hooters is in the wrong spot. Luke 04-16-2009, 12:43 PM Hooters is in the wrong spot. That's a funny quote. sroberts24 04-16-2009, 12:56 PM i counted about 17 different parking areas, thats sad, so much wasted space!! why can't we build 2-3-4 parking garages and use all that wonderful space?!?! Mr. T in OKC 04-16-2009, 01:07 PM That's a funny quote. I don't know how to make it better. Lets try: The resturaunt with the wings and the busty wait staff is located in the wrong building on this website. Luke 04-16-2009, 01:15 PM I don't know how to make it better. Lets try: The resturaunt with the wings and the busty wait staff is located in the wrong building on this website. lol, yeah I gotcha... AFCM 04-16-2009, 03:49 PM i counted about 17 different parking areas, thats sad, so much wasted space!! why can't we build 2-3-4 parking garages and use all that wonderful space?!?! The problem is amplified when one considers how many of those 17 are bordering the canal, the most promising real estate in OKC. Slivermoon 04-16-2009, 03:55 PM Hooters is in the wrong spot. I think to be correct, the comment should read "Hooters are in the wrong spot." It will be my pleasure to acquaint you with the appropriate location. Seriously, great website. Best regards. AFCM 04-16-2009, 08:32 PM I just realized our old friend, NewSpin360, was responsible for the ground level views. Great work NS! jbrown84 04-16-2009, 09:35 PM Great new website! |
