Well we've talked about deli's but not "delicatessens" yet as far as I know. Does anyone know if we have any around OKC or Norman? When I say delicatessen I'm thinking of a place that basically has high quality dinners ready to go. It might include sandwiches, but things like rotisserie chicken, pasta, etc. come to mind.

Something kind of like Boston Market comes to mind, but we don't have those here.

Any ideas?

Market C has all of the things you mentioned and more. Rotisserie chicken, meatloaf, pasta, even desserts. And it's all good quality food, much better than Boston Market.

Wow, thanks I've never heard of them I'll have to check it out. I found their website in case anyone else is curious:

Market C without a doubt. Also if you're ever in Norman Forward Foods does a great job too! Believe it or not, but the Super Target's deli's have a nice selection of organic and ready to go foods.

She is still there - just moved 2 doors north - other side of Eden Salon - to a bigger space!

. . . amazingly enough, Buy 4 Less on NW Expwy has some pretty tasty looking "to go" items.

Thanks, I've been to Forward Foods before but all I seem to remember is their cheese area. I'll have to check it out again soon.

You know Super Target does have a pretty decent deli, it's where I've been getting my deli items recently. I'm just kind of getting burnt out on them... seems like their deli stuff is always doused in cheese and/or breading.

dismayed, I haven't seen many items "doused in cheese or breading" at the supertarget deli's, they have plenty of organic and healthy options.
