I will be reseeding part of my lawn this week, and overseeding the rest. I have an area in my front lawn that is shaded til noon then gets about 2 hours of direct mid-day sun before going back to shade. I've tried several different seeds the last few years (Crossfire, Tulsa blend, Kentucky 31) with minimal success. They all do fine til June then wilt away regardless of the amount of watering. Anyone know of a grass seed that does well in okc under those conditions?

If over several years all the grass seed you are trying dies you might want to get the soil tested.
