Gen78, I've been seeing Galaxies all week. There's a @'66 on NW 36th near
N. Peniel. I saw a '62 earlier to day. There have been a couple others, too.

I remember Ford making a race ready '63 Galaxie that was street legal.

Here's something I ran across today that I think fits in nicely with this thread. Old pics of auto dealerships. It seems odd to see those classics sitting in the dealership showrooms.

Got a good look at a 1922 Hupmobile open roadster last weekend at a car show. It's 1 of only 17 registered worldwide. He said he would be bringing it to our car show at Crossroads mall on May 23.

I bought this car unrestored in 1980 for $350.00 and still had to think long and hard before I did it.

Well Generals64 was right...you have got better with age. I remember when you would not know how to start a machine like this. My Dad had a brand new black '58 right of the showroom. Continental kit, fender skirts and twin antennas on the back when the tornado hit there on south shartel it drove a 2 X 4 straight through the garage wall, the drivers door and wedged into the bucket seat. It was a beautiful car. But, VI I am proud of you, that one is a fine looking auto.

I have owned so many cars over the years...(Bad habit).....Porsches...Corvettes..Camaros...Jeeps.. .and so on but, my favorite of them all was the Dark Blue '63 Impala 2-door hardtop just like the one pictured...Thanks '78....I even had my wife come in and look and remember...Generals64...See ya next time....
