I am looking to rent a convertible in OKC May 22nd - May25th. I have tried Budget, Avis, Hertz and Enterprise. All of them say that they don't rent convertibles in Oklahoma. Anybody know of some place that I can rent one for the weekend?

No offense but I find that hard to believe. I've done it with Enterprise before and have called others about it other times. Did you try looking in the phone book, I know there are places that rent exotics/sportscars, etc.

I called the Midwest City office of Enterprise, who told me that they didn't rent them and referred me to the airport branch. I called their airport branch, who told me that they didn't rent them and referred me to their national call center. Called their national call center who checked all of the Enterprises in Oklahoma (spent about 10 minutes on hold) and told me that there are not any in Oklahoma. Enterprise was my first call, Hertz just wanted to put me in a full size, Budget played the same game as Enterprise, and Avis flat out told me that they don't offer convertibles.

Try Bolen on Britton near Johnnies. They rent their inventory.

Looks like there is a Sebring for rent from Dollar Rent A Car for about $139.00 a day.

I almost forgot about this thread. I talked to some folks from Enterprise earlier this week. There's no company policy against renting convertibles. It's just a regional thing. If you were in Florida or California, for example, you'd be a lot more likely to find a convertible among their inventory.
