What do we know about this soon-to-be new club in Bricktown?

Jeez - another one? Where's it at?

Bricktown, I believe. I saw it on someone's MySpace with interior photos. It looked stunning, but that is all I know.

I thought it was in the Centennial. Im not sure what everyone has against clubs in BT. Though I dont really ever go to them, I dont see what harm they do to me or the people that never go to them. If someon has the money and time, I suppose they could open any type of business they want in BT.
That being said, this Paralogia is maybe supposed to be more of a lounge rather than a cheap looking club. Something you see in Vegas is how I thought someone described it. Maybe it will be a much better place to go for those that arent into Rok Bar or cheesy Ed Hardy shirts.

i wonder if they gave it this name cuz it sounds "cool" or fancy.

Right. It has street and canal level retail although Red Pin (the bowling place you were talking about) takes up most of the space at the canal level. I like the Centennial because it brings much needed retail space around that area to coinside with the Falcone's area.

Looks neat to me. I like hanging out at bolero, very modern and european. A nice lounge would complement the area.

Paralogia was also featured on Fox News 12 this morning twice, once featuring their liquor, and another featuring Curtis Bramlett (from Bolero next door and Le Cep in Edmond), because he is doing the menu and food for the lounge. They are doing a "South Beach" theme and it looks really good.

Prunepicker, Fox Morning News did two features on them that particular morning... they did one feature on drinks, and then about 10-15 minutes later did another feature on their food and their menu. That's when I saw my friend Curtis Bramelett, co-owner of Bolero and Le Cep Bistro.

Yeah, Paralogia does seem to be geared towards chicks. Or chickettes as you say. I think their owner is a woman, or at least the manager they interviewed on their drinks segment.

It's just an ultra lounge, pretty common in most major cities....

IT'S OPEN!!! Go check it out! They were handing out flyers as I was leaving the Bedlam Game tonight. So, I decided on my walk back to the car I would stop by to check it out. It's a pretty cool place! Better than I expected actually. The only knock I have on it.... It's really REALLY small. I could defiantly see this place getting packed on the weekends with no place to sit. It should be a great addition to Bricktown!

Some friends and I are going there on saturday night so I'll let you guys know what it's like

Went on Saturday night. Really cool place but the only way I am going back is if I reserve a table because that place is wayyyyyy to small to just stand around with friends.

I never even think about this place. Which is probably the reason I never went. Not the best location. Ive been to In The Raw, Bolero, and Red Pin multiple times and really dont think Ive even seen the front door to Paralogia. Has anyone been there in the last few months? What was the crowd like?

No, you are right. They are moving in next to Electro Lounge. It will probably create good synergy between the two venues. The manager/partner (James) also used to run XO in the bottom of the Colcord pre Devon purchase.

So the ghetto place on the other side of electro lounge is gone now? If not I will never visit this place. I had to stop going to the electro lounge because of the ghetto club.

They replaced or are replacing "the ghetto club." Between the two I think they are taking up the entire ground floor.

A few months back my buddy and I went to Paralogia--he loves the place but did agree it was too small. The doorman was charging $5 to get in and it was after 1AM. We asked him how many people were inside and he was all like, "oh, like 50". My friend stuck his head in the door and there were probably more like 15, lol. My buddy grabbed his money and said "nice try!" It was cool the few times I went but DEF too small.

Kevin it is mainly the patrons, think circus like painted cars with big wheels, loud bass, drug deals, and property crimes all through the night in the parking lot.

No. Paralogia is not "the ghetto club." I never made it into Paralogia but I did see the "ghetto club." Steve suggests that the people had a problem with them in Lower Bricktown.

Yeah, the owners/operators were pretty delusional about pricing.. Shots were like $7-$10 and drinks were at least double the price compared to everywhere else in BT...

The only time I ever saw more than 20 people in there was when it first opened..

Didn't say they were ghetto, I believe their sign said "Fine dining with a touch of nightlife sophistication" and I believe they were meant to b a martini lounge not a night club. I can see y tenants and residence were not happy with them.

Paralogia is moving out of the Centennial in Bricktown and into the first floor space on the north side of an office building in the Best Buy/Home Depot parking lot at NW 59th & May, which used to house a "ghetto club" called Rhea's, which has been discussed over and over again in a separate thread on this forum.
