It was the Hornets saying positive things about their fans and city that probably helped with team-city bonding. I'm just sorry this was in national rather than local media, because more people need to know what the team thinks. When I see Kevin Durant on the floor this evening, the fact that I know he appreciates the fans and likes the city will help me see him as more than a just a player on our team. Statements like that help us put up with what will probably be a pretty grim season.
