What kind of names would you come up with? My wife and I cant seem to agree on a good girl's name......do you have any ideas??

My favorite names are my daughters': Margot and Molly. I also like Lucy, Sophie, Nell (Eleanor), Tess. I like them short.

Id try to come up with a name that means something to me. Like Patricia (my mother). I always liked Indie, and Jessica as well. I know this sounds trivial, but try the names in conjunction with her last name. ie Jessica wouldnt go well with a last nae of Bessie. Congrats if you are expecting!!

I LOVE Brooke Lynne. She can go by Brooke or Lynne.

We are having a girl this December and we are going with Ava.

I like a lot of those names. I don't like girls names that end in y or i. My name is Cynthia and I have never been Cindy (ever).

I love the name Hannah. Unfortunately it doesn't go well with my last name, so I can never use it. I also like Megan for some reason... probably because I know some cool Megans.

I like traditional names, or names with some literary or historical significance. There's something cool about names that have been used for hundreds of years...

I usually hate boys' names on girls, but I think Stevie is cute, too.

Please, FTLOG, give her a real name, and spell it right. I'm sick of names like Kodi, Tayler, Kylie, Mikayla, Mickenzie, etc.

I would have to go with Allison or Velouria, but then again I'm a huge Pixies fan.

If you're into exotic..I like this name for some reason.. Keaira (Key r uh) ..... years ago I told my sister in law I loved that name and if I had a girl I wanted to use it ( I was pregnant at the time but ended up having a miscarriage) guess what she named her daughter?

How about Avery or Delaney? don't know, but just like the way they sound and aren't "too" different

My good friends in CA named their two daughters Emily and Abigail and their son Brady.

Just please have it be something that someone reading it can figure out how to pronounce. Don't condemn your child to having to correct her boss/teacher/etc. about the proper way to pronouce her name. And stop to think about what a prospective employer or school administration is going to think when they see the name. If it is wacky and wierd, it just starts things off on a negative tone.

Creative names do NOT inspire kids to be creative. Chances are, a weird name just embarasses them so much they want to drop in a hole when people struggle with it or make comments.

My favorite has to be Autumn :)

Get out the bible, and pick a good old fashioned biblical name.
