Does anyone know of a great pie place anywhere in the metro area? There are times when a body needs some good ol' fashioned chocolate silk or coconut cream pie and I have yet found a place. Any ideas?

GWB 10-13-2008, 03:51 PM Irma's has great buttermilk pie... is there a Pioneer Pies still around? Pioneer pie off I-240 is still open, at least they were a couple of months ago when I bought a coconut pie. It was good, but I wouldn't say it was the best coconut pie I've ever eaten. metro 10-13-2008, 03:55 PM Yeah dude, go to Pioneer Pies off I-240. Last one left but it sure is some good food! 3 course homecooked meal plus a slice of homemade pie for about $10 bucks a person? You can't beat Pioneer Pies. John 10-13-2008, 09:43 PM You could call up Johnnie's and see if they'll make one up for you, as they sell by the slice at their restaurants... Oh GAWD the Smell! 10-14-2008, 12:27 AM I'd go to Marie Callender's (Norman) before I went to Pioneer Pies. Plus, MC's has a good turkey pot pie. :) jsibelius 10-14-2008, 09:54 AM Mmmmmm....I think I just gained 5 pounds. I'm all about chocolate merengue.
