Yesterday, Jerry Orbach, one of the actors on the television series "Law & Order," died of prostate cancer. He was 69.

Orbach was a very deverse actor, having acted in Shakesperian roles and Broadway, all the way to playing comedy roles on television and motion pictures. My most memorable comedy role of his was as the "Hackensack Bulls" manager in Richard Pryor's 1984 remake of "Brewster's Millions."

Orbach's talent will be missed. He was really a talented man.
