New lights planned for chairs at bombing memorial
September 10, 2008 09:19 EDT
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- New lights are planned for the chairs that represent bombing victims at the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum.
Memorial officials say new LED lights will be installed on the chairs and will make them as bright as they were when the memorial opened in 2000.
The chairs represent the 168 people who died as a result of the April 19, 1995, bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building.
The project is expected to cost up to $30,000 and will continue for a few weeks.
