We have a few not too far away like the Crossroads Drive In (http://www.crossroadsdrivein.com/) located near Shiner that was built in 2001. One near Pops would be cool.

Here are a couple of site with info on drive ins.

Closer still is the Winchester off Western just north of I-240, unless it closed in the last week or three

Chickasha has, or used to, have a drive-in. Same for Weatherford. Never been to either so I don't know if they were active this summer and this fall. Poteau may still be in operation, but if I drive that far, I'm visiting family not sitting in my car for a movie.

Yeah...I went there a year or two ago, and the projectors were so wore out you couldn't see the picture...Plus the crowd was VERY rowdy, and not in a fun movie going kind of way.

I agree. I've been there in recent years to see The Hulk movie from a few years ago and since it was a dark movie anyway, I couldn't see a thing. We went to the Guthrie drive-in a few weeks ago with a bucket of KFC to see Get Smart and had a great time.

A nice feature of the Winchester is its relative position to fast n tasty places
