One near Pops would be cool. Here are a couple of site with info on drive ins. Drive-ins.com - Welcome to Drive-ins.com (http://www.drive-ins.com) Drive-In Theater (http://www.driveintheater.com) kevinpate 09-10-2008, 07:59 PM Closer still is the Winchester off Western just north of I-240, unless it closed in the last week or three timothy.a.owen 09-10-2008, 10:56 PM And let's not forget the one in Guthrie... kevinpate 09-11-2008, 05:04 AM Chickasha has, or used to, have a drive-in. Same for Weatherford. Never been to either so I don't know if they were active this summer and this fall. Poteau may still be in operation, but if I drive that far, I'm visiting family not sitting in my car for a movie. grantgeneral78 09-11-2008, 06:49 AM http://mag.awn.com/issue8.05/8.05images/siggraph04_LOTR-TT_gollum.jpg Too risky... too RISKY! Risky? I think not, I think It is brilliant, how fun pops and a drive inn! good family fun . roboticbrad 09-11-2008, 07:23 AM Tulsa has a pretty good Drive In Theater called Admiral Twins. Admiral Twins (http://www.selectcinemas.com/pages/admiral.html) Oh GAWD the Smell! 09-11-2008, 07:32 AM Closer still is the Winchester off Western just north of I-240, unless it closed in the last week or three Yeah...I went there a year or two ago, and the projectors were so wore out you couldn't see the picture...Plus the crowd was VERY rowdy, and not in a fun movie going kind of way. hipsterdoofus 09-11-2008, 07:59 AM And let's not forget the one in Guthrie... I've been to that one a number of times but its nice to have one out East too... EdmondBrad 09-12-2008, 04:19 PM Yeah...I went there a year or two ago, and the projectors were so wore out you couldn't see the picture...Plus the crowd was VERY rowdy, and not in a fun movie going kind of way. I agree. I've been there in recent years to see The Hulk movie from a few years ago and since it was a dark movie anyway, I couldn't see a thing. We went to the Guthrie drive-in a few weeks ago with a bucket of KFC to see Get Smart and had a great time. kevinpate 09-13-2008, 06:30 PM A nice feature of the Winchester is its relative position to fast n tasty places |
