I was wondering if anyone has or knows anyone who has a labradoodle. I am looking to purchase one from a good breeder for my girlfriend.

PennyQuilts 09-03-2008, 08:13 PM Sorry, I don't know a breeder in the area but just wanted to say that my son has a labradoodle and they adore her. She is a good girl. Son's father-in-law also has one they are crazy about. Luke 09-03-2008, 09:08 PM Sounds like some kind of Italian dish. ddavidson8 09-03-2008, 09:09 PM I know they don't shed which is a big plus. They are one of the most popular breeds these days. Do a search for labradoodle breeders and see what you get. Make sure you check references. mecarr 09-03-2008, 11:37 PM Actually, many labradoodles do moderately shed...Breeders usually understate how much they sell and mislead the buyer. They also can be bigger than regular labradors. PennyQuilts 09-04-2008, 07:17 AM My son's dog is enormous. sroberts24 09-04-2008, 09:25 AM my best friend has one, and his is bigger than a lab and a poodle... we breed and show dogs, and if i were you i wouldn't get a dog not akc registered, whcih as of right now labradoodles aren't bandnerd 09-04-2008, 09:41 AM Sounds like a magnadoodle. Cute dogs, though. I'd rather go to the shelter and get a mutt-dog and save some money. bretthexum 09-04-2008, 10:24 AM Stay away from breeders. Get one from a shelter. Midtowner 09-04-2008, 10:36 AM Stay away from breeders. Get one from a shelter. cosign. Do not help the puppy mill industry. Unless it's AKC certified, that's exactly what you're doing. |
