Drove down to BT this weekend and noticed there was a pile of junk out from an old Chinese restaurant on the NW corner of 23rd and Western. Is that being just renovated or being changed into another restaurant? Also, what is the deal with the buildings on the SE corner or 23rd and Penn. I started school at OCU on Fall of 1999, graduated in Fall of 2002, have lived in OKC since then and have never seen anything done with that portion of the corner. Any ideas?

I also noticed that pile of junk, and was curious about what was going on.

They might finally be preparing to tear that building down and build a long planned Asian shopping plaza there.

I drove by at lunch just to see what you were talking about. As Steve said, I assume they are finally starting work on Sun Moon Plaza.

So is this basically just another L-shaped strip mall with the addition of a pagoda in the parking lot?

Ok, so from what I can tell from maps.live, that center will face the corner and will back up to the restaurant to the west. Does that sound about right?

Also, do you know anything about the SE corner of 23rd and Penn?
