I'll take a wild guess and say that its a Comfort Suites, since it kind of resembles the one in Wichita, KS that I've seen.

The city has been trying to build a conference center off I-35. I wonder if that's it?

Really doesn't look like a conference center (and really, it seems like an odd place for it).

It seems as though there are window A/C units under the windows, thats why I thought hotel. The shape of it, its odd, and even though it feels like a hotel, it doesn't look like most of the ones that I am used to seeing (which is not a bad thing, I can't wait to see what it looks like when its done).

It's not the convention center and hotel I thought it might be. Here's the story (http://www.edmondsun.com/archivesearch/local_story_212224648.html)about that. It is a Comfort Suites. The convention center is still in the "proposed" stage, evidently.

I wasn't aware of any casino being involved. It doesn't sound like Edmond's style. I do know there was a casino being proposed a little further down the road that Remington Park wasn't too happy about, but it wasn't going to be in Edmond.
