I got patted down by a "really stupid idiot" cop during the winter, he saw me put my cell phone in my coat then he jumped out of his car and yelled hold it -- patted me down then said "i thought i saw you put a beer in your coat" -- never apologized . . . so I was thinking, thank god these guys are out here to bust people with open containers.

Not true unless they've changed the law in the past few years, which I hadn't heard of....from the horse's mouth I was told low-point beverages are allowed out and about in Norman.
