I'll be interested to see if he has live Irish music there a couple of times per week like before.

I would bet he does. I think he still has live music on Sundays at Bacon.

He does. I can personally attest it's a great opening! I was in Sophabellas before, and you'd think Cummings was here for five years the way he's moved in so well.

Stopped in for a beer and a bump (Smithwick's/ Jameson) not long after this place opened. Went here for an early dinner last Saturday. Somehow managed to beat the rush. I had the Salmon Boxty and my wife ordered the Fish and Chips. Long story short: Off the charts in terms of goodness. The only way it might have been better is if we hadn't been leaving just as the band was arriving and setting up.

I took my friend Chris from London to Seans and she had the Shepard's (should be Shepherd's) pie and loved it. I had bangers and mash and it was excellent. Several days later we went again and she had the bangers and mash and I had fish and chips. We both really enjoyed them. I want to try their full Irish breakfast, with black and white pudding.

I try and stop by here on Mondays as they have pretty good live Irish music.

If you aren't in the mood for Irish Pub food, Vito's is just down the street and ND's Deli is a couple of blocks north and to the right.

My friend, Chris from London was visiting for a couple of weeks and we went to Sean's two evenings and we both loved the food. The Bangers and mash were just like I enjoyed in England and Ireland. Chris had the Shepherd's pie and loved it. Her only problem (and mine) was their menu listed it as "Shepard's Pie". Sorry, it's named for sheep herders. Ok, that's a big "whine" or as they say in Ireland "whinge". Our second trip Chris had the bangers and mash and agreed with me about the authentic taste. I asked about the sausages and they server said they bought them from a place in Chicago. The second night I had the fish and chips. Pretty good but my next meal will be lamb shank. I love the place, like all of his restaurants.

There's live music almost every night. There's a calendar on their website that shows who's coming up.

Ah thank you, I went to their website and went straight to the "Music" tab which didn't have dates, should have just scrolled down on the home page.

Edit: They have live music almost every night, https://www.seancummings-ok.com/ Link if anyone else was wondering.
