Karried 06-29-2008, 09:12 AM Wow, Wow, and more Wow. A must See Flick.
Wicked Comedy, more twists than you can see coming and a wonderful chemistry between actors...
10/10 and 2 Thumbs Up - an unexpected great movie.
This one will keep you thinking for days.
FritterGirl 06-29-2008, 04:22 PM I saw it when it was out in the theatres. Just saw yesterday that it is out on video. We loved it, loved it, loved it. A great film that was REALLY well done.
Big Jebb 06-29-2008, 04:32 PM Awesome movie...I still can't believe how many times the "F" word was used...Hilarious none the same
lpecan 06-29-2008, 04:46 PM That could be my favorite movie that no one knows about. Its hilarious!
Oh GAWD the Smell! 06-29-2008, 05:10 PM That could be my favorite movie that no one knows about. Its hilarious!
Well I'm one that's never heard of it.
Now I gotta go rent it.
Karried 06-29-2008, 06:10 PM Awesome movie...I still can't believe how many times the "F" word was used...Hilarious none the same
yeah, that word was used a lot.. and well, it's not for the kiddos (although my teenager loved it) ... and actually, I can't classify it as a true comedy because it's so complex with other aspects... it's not really a comedy per se but has it's lol moments for sure. It's not for the faint of heart but I truly enjoyed it.
Oh GAWD the Smell! 06-29-2008, 06:25 PM So it's a black comedy?
Something like Grosse Pointe Blank?
Karried 06-29-2008, 06:31 PM Definitely a black comedy but I haven't seen Grosse Point Blank so I can't say .... go rent it, I can't wait to see what you think of it.
I still have it, I think I'll watch it again.
Oh GAWD the Smell! 06-29-2008, 07:13 PM Well from looking around, it looks like something I'd like, so I'll stick it in my Netflix. :)
FritterGirl 06-29-2008, 08:57 PM Yes, a dark comedy / British/Scottish spy/con-artist caper, but with some real serious moments, all set in this "fahkking" medieval town in Belgium!
GREAT twists!!!! Really ingenious and fun.
Once you've seen it come let us know what you think!!!
MadMonk 06-29-2008, 10:15 PM I had imagined this along the lines of "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" or "Snatch". Am I close?
Oh GAWD the Smell! 06-29-2008, 11:21 PM Snatch is one of my favorite movies ever. Brad Pitt should have won something for his part in that.
Like a "Best Weird-Assed Accent" award or something.
MadMonk 06-30-2008, 07:03 AM Yeah that's a great movie.
"Do you know what nemesis means?" ;)
FritterGirl 06-30-2008, 07:20 AM A bit more slower paced than those (it's been awhile since I've seen either), but it certainly puts a very interesting light on what is considered a "code of honor" among thieves, as it were, and it's a GREAT character study film with lots of great humor.
Richard at Remax 08-10-2008, 12:23 AM I took your guys and rented it on cox hd in demand.
Wow. I havent been that glued to a movie in a while.
I agree with all said above but wanted to add I thought the music was superb.
Def must see.
