Channel 5 and 5.2 are the only stations I normally have trouble picking up in HD, I suppose because this station is VHF (and I've been too lazy to install an outdoor antenna). But lately its been coming in crystal clear whereas before I had trouble picking it up at all. I did an internet search and didn't see anything on this subject, but it seems that they either upped their power or switched to UHF. Anyone know anymore?

As of this date there application for moving the antenna and upping there power were approved by the FCC so it should only be a matter of time till it is easily receiveable like the rest of the OKC stations are.

They won't be switching to UHF. After the DTV conversion, the analog transmission on 5 will be discontinued and you'll be watching the digital version on 7, though there's a little doohickey called PSIP which will tell you that it's really, truly 5. Even though it isn't.
The big problem is that KSWO-TV in Lawton is still running analog on 7. Of course, it won't be after February.
