Does anyone remember a store on Western called the Television Factory? It might have been where Cafe NOVA is now, but I'm not positive.

The cool Television Factory sign was bought by the owner of Zoe and Company salon next to VZD's and she has it on display in her business. Steve 04-22-2008, 07:58 PM Yes, that was a great store. It had all sorts of kitche merchandise - hard to find items from shows that disappeared long ago - just a great fun place. And yes, I didn't just browse, I spent some hard earned money re-enforcing my inner-geek. So Superhawk - could a store like that be operated today? Superhawk 04-23-2008, 06:46 AM Blue 7 on N. May is pulling it off nicely and they carry some of the fun merchandise lines we had at the TV Factory. Steve 04-23-2008, 07:50 AM I've not heard about Blue 7. I'll have to check it out. Thanks - Steve metro 04-23-2008, 08:43 AM Steve, you haven't heard of Blue Seven? You must check it out. It's a great shop to support local artists (including local clothing artists). They also have some off the wall knick knacks I don't care too much for though. ksearls 04-23-2008, 10:00 AM Metro! Glad to see you were not the one gunned down yesterday at the Days Inn! metro 04-23-2008, 10:02 AM What? I'm glad I wasn't that person either. I typically make it a habit not to hang around Days Inn. ksearls 04-23-2008, 11:03 AM No silly, it was your bank robber evil twin. metro 04-23-2008, 11:06 AM oh, nice. |
