I've owned an Ipod for several years now with the same 20 or so songs on it.

For whatever reason I was in Sam's the other day and bought a new Itouch Ipod (gave my old video Ipod to my teenager).

I put the same 30 or so songs on my new Itouch and went to iTunes to buy a few more.

That is when the podcasts on iTunes caught my eye.

WOW - there is some great free stuff there. I was like a kid in a candy store... My favorites so far are...
1. Several different NPR podcasts.
2. Deadliest Catch video podcast
3. Dirty Jobs video podcast
4. Car Talk
5. NewsWeek
6. Alive in Bagdad
7. Discovery Channel's video podcast
8. LifeChurch audio sermons
9. New Yorker
10. 60 Minutes

What are you your favorite podcasts (hopefully free)?

Bailjumper,

If you aren't already familiar with This American Life you must get acquainted! It's a hard show to describe as it is about whatever the host, Ira Glaser, wants it to be about. Sometimes it's four different stories with a theme, sometimes a full one-hour on one topic, sometimes very funny, sometimes very serious. One of a kind. I think you would like it.

Each week's episode is a free .mp3 download. All past episodes are .99 each.
