My husband and I just moved to OKC (technically my husband grew up in Edmond, but has been gone for 7 years) We love finding great local places to hang out, whether restaurants, coffeehouses, little boutiques, ect. Please let me know your favorite local "spot".

I've plugged this place before, so at the risk of sounding like a shill, here goes. My "spot" is Vintage Timeless Coffee at NW 150th & Western. It's really easy to get to if you live in NW OKC or Edmond.

Dan McGuinness in Moore. Great food and great beer. My g/f hates bars, and she'll even go there.

Not sure it is a "spot" because I never hang out there, only take my food to go, Old School Bagel Cafe is the best bagel shop around. It's on May and Hefner I believe. The owner is always working in the store and he always seems to want to please you every time.
