I was just looking at their website and saw this:

The Factory Mixed Use Development
Oklahoma City, OK

TAParchitecture designed this proposed mixed-use development for Oklahoma City’s Bricktown Entertainment District. The multi-million dollar proposed development included rehabilitation of two historic industrial buildings as well as new construction of a twelve story structure.

Here is the link:TAParchitecture: The Factory Mixed-Use Development, Oklahoma City (http://www.taparchitecture.com/projects/urbandesign/02/)

The buildings in the front are the existing buildings containing Spaghetti Warehouse (to the far right), Bricktown Brewery, Daquiri Zone, The new Banjo Museum, etc. Behind it in the rendering is the new building. Anyone else heard of this?

Whatever became of these plans? It's been a long time since I've heard anything about The Factory. I remember the buildings were sold a couple of years back but that's the last I've heard.

Warreng, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ignore your question. Take a look at these threads:

That project is dead.

Really? When did I miss the thread on the demise? That's too bad.

The problem is that they didn't have any dates on the renderings. That frustrates me that they area is still going to be just parking. I wish they would build something like this with a parking garage underneath. Too bad. Thanks for letting me know everyone.

Yeah, funding fell through, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's not revived in some form if Cotton Exchange is successful.

Yeah, this is a DOA project. See the other threads others mentioned.

Sherman Iron Works (the Factory) is listed by Emporis.com as "never built". It shows an estimated completion date of 2005. BTW - Emporis.com already has the Devon building (no picture) and 2 riverfront 20 story condos (no photos) listed.
