Okay, this has to be the most boring SuperBowl I've seen in a looongggg time.
It's after halftime and the score is still
NYG 3 and NE 7 ..
But, I really don't care because my favorite band of all time played Half Time - wooooooooooo!!!!
I love Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers!
Favorite song ever - Refugee... wish they would have played that one... I just love this band.
So, is it just me or is this game pretty slow?

Slower games just mean the teams are fairly matched, imo.
Was anyone else hoping the I Am Legend prediction would play out?

oh Lordy, what an awkward end! 1 second left and everyone is on the field celebrating...
New York Giants... congrats !!!!
* I'm glad the second half was more exciting.. the end was pretty intense.. as a SuperBowl should be... that was enjoyable!

Anyone besides me a little disappointed in Belechek (sp?) not sticking around for the final second?

Belechick is being interviewed right now and is looking really depressed and despondent. ahhhhh...
I think he thought this was a
'given' because of their record and it wasn't...

The fourth quarter was pretty exciting. I was rooting for Wes Welker more than I was rooting for the Patriots, and I have trouble with Eli Manning, because I didn't like him forcing San Diego to trade when he was drafted. He looked like a pouty kid wearing the San Diego jersey, when he should have been thrilled just to get drafted first and go to any team. So, although I thought the Giants played superb defense and deserved to win the game, I was sad that Wes Welker had such an outstanding effort and came away with a loss. Although, when you've been overlooked like he was, I'm sure just playing for the Patriots, getting to the Super Bowl and tying a Super Bowl record must seem like a dream.

Being a huge Dolphins fan I absolutely love the Giants today. I even think I might have a temporary man crush on Eli Manning!
There is still one and only one perfect season!
THANK YOU GIANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
