Has anyone found a good "blank" channel to use with an iPod FM transmitter?
I mostly use 104.5, but lately "The Edge" has been coming in stronger than usual.

I use 107.1 and I forget the other channel I use, like 88 point something. Edmond is weird since the towers are up north but in the city, I jump to the higher frequency.

I was going to suggest 98.3, but this might not be a great idea if the Sports Animal moves to 98.1 as expected. (KVRO in Stillwater, currently on 98.1, would move to 101.1.)
There are local signals at 88.1 and 88.9, therefore possibly space in between.

Wife's works best on 98.1 and mine works best on 94.3
Mine really annoys me from time to time so I need to get out and get an auxiliary connection so the stupid static won't come in when I'm jamming to my favorite Cher song

check that website out. It will tell you the best FM frequencies to use for your ipod transmitter after entering zip code or city/state. I use both 93.5 and 95.3.

Step 1 - sell your iPod on Ebay to another sucker
Step 2 - buy a regular MP3 player for less than you sold your iPod for
Step 2A - better yet, buy a 2 gig flash drive from Circuity City for $20
Step 3 - buy the same $30 FM modulator from Wal-Mart that I have. You can slect any FM station on the dial and has a USB port for the flash drive
Step 4 - Buy MP3 and WMA from Wal-Mart online for 88 cents each.
Stop buying into the Apple crap that cost more and does less.
That is just my 2 cents. Seriously, thanks for the web site info.

I'll hang on to my iPod, thanks. Especially since I have about 30 gigs of music--most of which can not be bought from Walmart.
I like to use 88.5 and 87.9....but I think I might start using these other frequencies. I've never felt a difference in quality....maybe I'm going deaf from all the music!
