I was planning on submitting some of my work to the Edmond Arts Festival for entry consideration. I was hoping to be able secure a booth and show/sell some of my artphotos. But I believe that the entry fee went up. I think that last year the fee was $150 but this year it doubled to $300. In contrast The Paseo Arts Fest's fee is $250.
Since this would be my first commercial venture, after all the printing/ framing costs I was hoping to at least break even. Now I am not so sure.
Has anyone here ever set up or sold anything there?
Has anyone ever purchased anything (other than food) there while attending?
Thanks.
I'd assume Edmond's festival has greater numbers than the Paseo.
I've bought art there in past years.

I do well at the Edmond Arts Festival. It is a different crowd then the Paseo Festival, where I do slightly better. The Edmond festival has changed a lot over the past couple of years. They eliminated a significant number of booths making competition to get into the show a little more difficult.

Was I correct that the fee went up or am I mistaken?
Thanks

I can't remember what I paid two years ago for entry fee. I missed last years Edmond and Paseo shows due to the studio move.

I go every year to enjoy walking around, looking at everything that's for sale, and yes... for the food. ;-)
However, THIS year I may actually buy something. I'm in the market for new art since I just made over my home, and nothing I have fits the new color scheme.
