An event is going on downtown right now which as far as I can tell has not been covered by the press, ArtTrain USA, a touring art exhibit train featuring cutting edge Native American Art/Artists. See Artrain USA: Welcome Aboard Artrain USA! (http://www.artrainusa.org/) for more about the tour. Locally, the event is sponsored by the American Indian Cultural Center & Museum. It is free, lasts for another day or two, and opens again in Norman on November 30.

The reception last night was in the Santa Fe Depot and I got my 1st real look at the very nicely done renovation. I noticed the train sitting up there at the station the other night. How did the press miss this?

Good question ... maybe those in charge didn't communicate well, I don't know.

Good post Doug. I imagine the press missed this just like they virtually missed the touring 9/11 memorial that was here last week and went virtually unnoticed.
