I'm sure most of you know what I'm talking about; they seem to have a bit of timelessness, but also a bit of dated-ness intact. I just saw the Christmas-themed one now, with the little boy inquiring of Santa's delivery route---only to have Mr. Kringle reveal to us that his yearly journey is, in fact, a rather abbreviated one as opposed to tradition.

When did these ads come out originally? I'm guessing by the soundtrack that they must be at least twenty years old; are they newer? The special effects in both the baseball and Christmas one have a bit of coldness to them, which might indicate something.
