I believe the high-rise to the west of the Colcord is called the Oklahoma Tower. Well, my question is, why is it not lighted at the top at night anymore. I have noticed the last few times I have been by at night it no longer has the light bar around the top. Anyone know?

I hadn't noticed. Last time I looked, it had the lights.

I think that Sooner8693 is correct ... the high rise isn't really by the Colcord, though, but it is to its west and north ... the downtown pic I took on Saturday night when coming home from the Regatta stuff shows that it is dimly lit and is not "highlighted" at all ... whether it was not always so, I don't recall ... the Oklahoma Tower is at the far left, below ...

I agree that it would be nice to highlight the building with some nice lights.

As you can see from this picture, the Oklahoma Tower used to be lighted along the top at two levels. I wonder why they don't now. Maybe its a money saver?
This shot is from the Northwest, looking southeast.

It's odd that they don't have it lit anymore, since an artistic profile of the 'lit' portion is the logo of Oklahoma Tower.
