I am starting to jog again and every night I leave my house without any idea which way I want to jog. I'm in Gatewood just south of OCU and I'd like to jog to something neat or through some neat neighborhoods. About a mile out and a mile back right now, but I'll be adding to that as I can.
Any suggestions.

The only jogging I do is to the refrigerator but I don't think that is what you're looking for! lol -j/k

There are several jogging trails around OKC but none too close to you that I know of. You should think about running in the Race for the Cure on October 20thru Bricktown. It is certainly for a good cause. Also there are several running clubs in the area that you might research.

Hi,
I can't recommend any paths in your area, but I do want to recommend this website (it's powered by google):
Gmaps Pedometer (http://www.gmap-pedometer.com)
You just zoom into your area (you can use the jump to box at the top of the page), click "start recording" and double-click where you ran. It will give you the exact mileage you went.
It's been really helpful for me as I run every day. When I get bored I can simply chart out a new 4 or 5 mile path.
Oh GAWD the Smell!

That's pretty cool!

We walk our dog in the Mesta Park and Heritage Hills Historic Preservation districts. A nice run for you might be east on 18th street past Mesta Park.
