Irmas II at Plaza Court is holding a Choc Beer Dinner on October 8th. You get an appetizer, ribeye steak, onion rings, desert and 4 beers from Choc for $35. You must make a reservation by calling 235-4762. Hopefully this will be one of many special events in Midtown.

Is there anything else going on with this (i.e. music, art show, fashion show, etc.) or is this just a special dinner only?
You had me up until "Choc Beer Dinner." I'm all for supporting local products and such, and I'm certainly all for drinking beer, but I find Choc Beer particularly distasteful.

When I lived in Italy, I would do food and wine tastings like the all the time at my favorite cafe... Cafe di Bonfi. It was always a fun time. And since it is all a matter of opinion, I happen to really like Choc Beer.

Choc isn't bad at all...Not high on my list, but it does have a pretty good flavor
Not a big fan of ribeyes so I guess I will pass on this

Sacrilege!
It certainly doesn't taste like Budweiser. Amen.

Don't like Budweiser, either.
Choc, it just has this really foul aftertaste that makes me sick.
Nasty, nasty stuff.
Just 'cause it's Oklahoma-made, doesn't make it good.

I'd be there if a no-name with cheese could be substituted for the ribeye.

I'm sure they would do it, but not sure if you want to pay $35 for a cheeseburger and fries. The No Name isn't that good. I don't think it's worth the $8 bucks they normally charge although it is good quality meat.
