University of Central Oklahoma, Dell announce educational partnership

University of Central Oklahoma's president announced an educational partnership with computer industry giant Dell Sept. 27.
The UCO-Dell Professional Selling Program will provide learning opportunities that will prepare students for future positions and leadership roles in professional selling and corporate leadership, the school said in a statement. The program will include a minor in Professional Personal Selling offered within the school’s College of Business Administration.
As part of the new program, Dell will provide UCO students with the opportunity for integrated “for credit” internships at Dell, student mentoring with Dell professionals and a variety of UCO guest speakers, programs and lectureships.
“UCO is thrilled that Dell, one of the world’s great companies, has agreed to an exciting partnership with our university,” President Roger Webb said. “This new program will help ensure that our students graduate with relevant, cutting-edge theory and practical application-based learning experiences.”
