Just wondering, I've been on a big salad binge lately, and I was wondering where are some places that others recommend to get a good salad. McDonald's has a good salad for the price, but I know there's got to be a lot more places out there that have a good salad meal without having to give an arm and a leg.
Rock Salad at Red Rock.
Any salad at Saturn Grill is good.
501 Salad at Cafe 501.
All are much better than a McSalad.
Can't forget Cheesecake Factory.
Prepared to take a LOT of salad home. They're enormous.

You really can't go wrong with the SouperSalad chain.
Six bucks and head to the trough!! Generally a tossed salad, a basic Caesar, and one other follwed buy buckets of optional ingredients. Then you get the pasta salad selection, followed by fruit and cottage cheese. Soup, breads, then dessert.
The pizza is rotten, but it's a salad joint!

Where are the SouperSalad's located at? How about price, do you get what you pay for there?

I'll second Soup'er Salad. About $6/person with a soft drink.
Whenever I'm hungry but not wanting to get weighed down, I head there and usually grab a bunch of veggies, pasta salads, rolls, fruit.

That fruit and nut salad as seen via TV at Panera bread looks fantastic!
Well if we're talking about salad bars, Jason's Deli is probably the winner.
Can't go wrong with Steak & Ale, either.

The Wedge has a fantastic tomato mozzarella salad. They've got a couple others that look really good too, but I haven't tried them.

If you want upscale salads:
Bourbon Street has a salad with blackened chicken and a raspberry cajun vinaigrette that is devine.
Likewise, Bellinni's in the Waterford has a grilled chicken and pecan salad that is also one of my absolute faves. Bed of dark greens mixed with fresh spinach. Breaded (not fried) chicken. Pecans roasted in honey. Fa-bu-lous!!
The Museum Cafe has a nice house salad that you can also get with grilled chicken. But, once you get the chicken on there - it's a $13 dollar salad - which is a bit much IMHO.
I also like Camille's for a quickie! (N Western at Grand, and NW 5th in the Presbyterian Research Park downtown).
Admittedly, I'm not an iceburg kind of gal, so I like my salads dark green and with good healthy ingredients; not just globbed with croutons and gallons of ranch. (although I love ranch).
